Hello We just landed at the airport for Super Bowl weekend and decided to take a cab to our hotel which was the Paris Hotel on the strip. I don’t know the drivers name but if I heard it I would recognize it. His Authority Permit number was #16949 and I’m pretty sure he worked for the Lucky Cab Company. My complaint is that instead of going up Tropicana and to the strip, he decided to take us on the freeway and through the tunnel which is definitely the longer way you to go. Which probably added an extra $6-8 to our trip. Not only that when we got out of the cab at our hotel the driver added a few extra dollars to the total on the meter. He said $23 when it only said $21. Yes, I could have argued with the driver and said something but I’m on vacation and the last thing our group of four people wanted to do was get in an argument with a taxi driver. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, like I was taken advantage of. My complaint is that I just want it documented incase this driver decides to do it again.
