WHY IS THERE NEVER A CAB IN THIS AREA THEN?

           I called for a taxi at 12:47pm. George (the dispatcher who picked up the phone)took my call. I gave him my location.He informed me the wait MAY be up to 1 hour. I informed George if he could please have the driver call me when he arrived because i had an infant with me and it was very windy and cold so I would be waiting inside the Smith’s.One hour later,I called A-Cab back, and George took the call again. He stated I would have to give the cab about another 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes later i called back again. Again, George took the call and stated to give the cab another 15-20 mintes, he stated he was trying to get someone to me. i asked George, ” Someone is coming correct”?George said “yes”. At 2:43pm, I called back yet again and got a female dispatcher, I began to give her my location and she so rudely stated, “We don’t know how long the wait is going to be, we have no cabs clearing in that area”. I stated ” i was told it would be up to an hour wait. no one said anything about any cabs clearing to me. She said ” i know you are frustrated but there is nothing we can do, so you will have to wait”. i said “you have no right to be rude to me, i have been waiting with an infant and grocries for 2 hours” i noticed the line had gone dead. I had to pack my baby carriage with all my groceries and WALK HOME WITH MY INFANT. this will be the third time this has happened to me. i do not drive. i depend on taxi service to get around. the funny thins is, whenever i call a cab and say i need a cab to spanish trails, I NEVER HAVE TO WAIT. EVER! i call A-Cab because the advertisement states they serve the north las vegas area. WHY IS THERE NEVER A CAB IN THIS AREA THEN? do they cherry pick? you can ask any cab driver that has ever picked me up, that i ALWAYS TIP more than 4 dollars especially if it is a short one way or round trip ride. i work at the mountainview Hospital and i see how long the patients wait for A-Cab when they are used for med rides. Something should really be done about this. i would rather take a cab thatn the bus with my infant daughter but i can hardly ever get one because all the cabs are on the strip. THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE SOMEONE SUES THEM FOR FALSE INFORMATION.
